Mini Thanksgiving Dinner Party

Sunday evening, we hosted a little Thanksgiving dinner party at our house. I spent lots and lots of time decorating and making a big meal, because I'm obsessive like that. Thanks so much to my sweet friends for capturing a few photos, because I was way too busy/distracted to take more than a couple.

The table.

I set the table all fancy, but used a burlap table runner to add a bit of rustic.

I spray painted the pumpkins champagne and put a fall arrangement in the big one, and attached tea candles to the small ones.

For favors/place cards, I printed these designs onto some brown paper bags. Then I made these labels with chalkboard paint, and wrote each person's name. The top was tied with twine and a little speckled feather. Inside... a caramel apple!

For dinner, we ate:

  • Herb Roasted Turkey Breasts
  • Cranberry Orange Relish
  • Potatoes and Gravy
  • Stove Top Stuffing (still my favorite, better than homemade)
  • Tarragon and Butter Steamed Green Beans
  • Apple Cranberry Spinach Salad with Almonds, Romano, and Pomegranate Vinaigrette
  • Whole Wheat Rustic Rosemary Bread

And for dessert...

Mini pies! I made these in a cupcake pan, and they were delicious served with Vanilla Bean ice cream. The flavors were Mixed Berry...

And Spiced Peach.

Mmm... I'm still drooling.

Thank you to our lovely friends for coming. We had a blast. Dinner parties are the best.
