When I am planning a party, I always like to choose a very specific theme. It can be a color, object, or idea, then I let the party planning evolve around it. A wonderful way to bring some fun to an event, (or room, or outfit) while being able to repeat and create consistency, is through patterns. Patterns are so expressive, and can instantly change the mood. This board below by Amy Atlas is a compilation of TONS of prints and the feelings they evoke.
